Live the Adventure Retreat was born out of your hosts’ passion to see couples build stronger relationships by encouraging them to pursue Jesus together and to learn to enjoy adventuring together. The setting for this adventure is on the world famous Kenai River and you will be catered too with excellent food and accommodations. Besides the many opportunities listed below you are welcome to just relax and enjoy the river go by. You will also be enjoying time in the evenings with Chad as he shares with us some of his personal insights on doing life together and how God has transformed him. The venue accommodates roughly 15 couples so you will have plenty of opportunity to interact with Chad & Katrina, your hosts and others joining you during this event. Chad & Katrina Moore
Chad Moore is Lead Pastor at Sun Valley Community Church located in Arizona. When Chad began his ministry at Sun Valley in 2004, the average attendance was 600 and the church met on one campus. Today, in 2023 Sun Valley currently meets in six locations and averages over 7,000 in "in-person" attendance. Sun Valley has been listed numerous times by Outreach Magazine as one of the 100 largest and fastest growing churches in America.
Chad is passionate about the local church and the expansion of the cause of Christ in the United States and all over the world. He serves churches both as a Leadership Coach and Multisite Specialist. Chad also speaks at Conferences and Camps nationally and serves on the Advisory Board for The Unstuck Group, which helps pastors lead thriving churches through consulting and leadership development to align vision, strategy, team, and action.
Chad is happily married to his wife Katrina, a native of Scotland, and they are the proud parents of two wonderfully formidable boys.
