Based in Fate, TX, The Pastor’s Refuge is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping pastors and their spouses and ministry leaders from all denominations anywhere in the world rest, refocus, and re-engage.
The Pastor’s Refuge Challenge Retreat, is a chance for you to learn about the vision of the Pastor’s Refuge and come away rested, refocused, and re-engaged.
This retreat is hosted by the founders of The Pastor’s Refuge: Chris & Tracy Binion
Includes:
Transportation to/from Anchorage Airport and all transportation during retreat
Private or shared accommodations
Breakfast and dinner daily, starting with dinner day 1 and ending with breakfast final day.
Adventure scheduling (Additional costs vary, see Registration page)
Getting to Retreat from Anchorage:
Shuttle: We will provide transportation to and from Anchorage Alaska, or you have the option of any of the following:
Air: The two carriers that fly from Anchorage to Kenai are Grant Aviation (www.flygrant.com) and Kenai Aviation (https://www.kenaiaviation.com/).
Car: If you want to rent a car and drive yourself from Anchorage, there is parking available, and the drive is very scenic.
Rail: We also offer an option with Alaska Railroad (see Registration form), you can go one or both ways between Anchorage and Seward and we will drop off or pick up in Seward. If you choose this option, plan to add another day to your schedule.
Typical Schedule:
Breakfast and dinner in the main lodge. After dinner will be informal sessions with our speaker.

5:00 pm Drinks & appetizers followed by dinner at 6:00pm

8:00 pm Free
Day 2-5: 7:00 – 9:00 am Breakfast – open buffet
Free or chosen activity

*Please note some adventures will not fall within the 9-5 “Free” time, but we will accommodate as needed.
